Webster and Sheffield
(2200 N and 1000 W)
Touted as the "Summer's Best Festival," the 43rd Annual Sheffield Garden Walk & Festival features self-guided tours of more than 100 beautiful gardens in this historical neighborhood - which extends from Halsted west to the Chicago River, and from Armitage north to Fullerton. For the fourth year, there will be a gardening contest in addition to the traditional garden entries. The Green Thumbs in the neighborhood are hard at work in hopes of capturing that First Prize ribbon!
In addition to the gardens tour, there will guided Architectural Tours, live entertainment by some of Chicago's and North America's finest bands, food and drink, and activities for children at the Kids Corner.

You’ll never run out of places to go or people to see in Chicago. With five major sports teams, more than a dozen theatres and concert halls, and festivals that celebrate virtually every holiday, food, and music genre, it hard to decide what to do. A little bit of this...a little of that. You really should buy a South Shore Line 10-ride ticket to come back for more and take it all in!
